Back last week from a little-longer-than-normal trip to the big apple for a little R&R. Found that New York sometimes doesn’t let you really relax as much as you need, so we took a train from Grand Central out to the countryside for a quiet reprieve from the hustle and bustle…

My dear friend, Laura, is an Aunt for the first time, and couldn’t be more proud of little Miss Evey. (It was such an honor to get to take first photographs for her sis’ family.) And, Miss Evey was bright-eyed during her whole shoot — I think her parents just may have their hands full with this energetic, sweet little girl. Personally, I was jealous of her already-extensive shoe collection. Pink high-tops? Yes!

Miss Evey welcomes the world… just shy of 3 weeks old. My goodness. More sweetness from her newborn story to follow shortly…
