My husband and I had the incredible opportunity just a few weeks back to travel to Ireland – and chose to explore the County Kerry Region, including traversing the entire Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and the Killarnery National Park. I have never witnessed the beauty of such unique landscape, and honestly, am having a hard time describing the intensity of the green color that surrounded us. It was somehow glowing; the hills and mountains were simply effervescent. Most of our days were spent attempting to outrun the rain, its clouds and the significant dropping temperatures… but when the skies behaved, it was pure magic. Our favorite day was spent biking through the National Park, stopping along the way to explore castles and ruins, visit with the lambs and cattle, stand amongst 30 foot rhododendron shrubs and watch boaters slowly come back to shore.

Ciara - Just spotted one of these gorgeous shots on pinterest and had to come see the full post! So glad you made it here and got to enjoy some of the magical surroundings, Kerry is one of my favourite spots too, lovely to see it through someone else’s eyes!

I am lucky to live directly across the street from Serenbe Farms, a certified organic farm, passionately run by farmers Paige and Justin… along with a much smaller crew than you would think considering not only how much food they provide, but how hard it is to sustain and nurture a growing farm. I’ve been documenting the entire growing season since January — mainly because I was curious as to the entire process, but even more so because I wanted to gain a deeper respect for the land, and the beautiful food that eventually ends up at my doorstep. Each week we receive a bounty of gifts in our farm share — and I feel blessed that I get to eat food that my neighbors have  literally “raised”.

Shawngela Pierce - I love to grow as much of my own food as possible. The fact that you have neighbors who grow organic food is that you get to eat is awesome!

Moo - Fabulous on so m any levels – so glad you shared this!
